labyrinth at Ripon College, Cuddesdon |
Can't get away from that long and winding road; this time at Ripon College, Cuddesdon during today's Festival of Prayer run by BRF and the Diocese of Oxford. Goodness, their gardener must have his or her work cut out! (pardon the pun). It must take a Ride On mower to keep that lot in trim...
<--- Or not... Maybe the pixies set it out under cover of darkness.
Yes, labyrinths are never far away! (as I'm reminded when I visit your blog). There's something special about labyrinths cut from living grass, I think - ephemeral might be the word (I walked one in Sweden a while back and might even post a photo some time...)
ReplyDeleteLove the "unsuitable for HGVs" sign. As I used to say (often!) there's a sermon in that. Something about travelling light or even camels and eyes of needles???
Ah yes, I couldn't resist the HGV sign. Too good to miss!
ReplyDeleteAnd once spotted, reminders of the labyrinth pattern pop up everywhere, as I'm discovering.
