Welcome to my blog. I always love receiving comments; do feel free. If you're visiting from the A-Z challenge (or even if you're not!) could I thank you for your patience in using the dreaded captcha verification thingy. It's a pain, I know, but I've had problems with spam in the past and would rather keep Greenpatches as a junk-free zone.
Permissive footpath, is one where you are given permission by the owner of the land to use as a path, it has no legal status in law unlike a public footpath that an owner of the land can not close or reroute without asking for legal permission.
ReplyDeleteAh right. That makes sense. I thought it would mean something like that. It would make a wonderful 'Ship's' thread, though, wouldn't it - along the lines of 'This door is alarmed.' Chances are it probably already exists.
